Honorable Mention Nut KA Head to heel, wearing green or teal, she smells like mocha and praline. Eyes almondesque, peanut lips, she is far from being plain. Coconut and chocolate, wrapped in a mint coat, she's a pretty nut. Salt-licked, she's mixed-up, mixed-nuts. She can't have much. She knows this, she never asks for anything. She sits against walls on concrete blocks, she's a walnut. Passing hours, sometimes minutes, she cracks knuckles then nuts. Chews on cashews while surpassing any stares. People see her eccentricity, hardly any electricity. She can't magnetize or draw anyone to her. She knows this, she never asks for anyone. She feels too lonely, her thick shell too claustrophobic. But she doesn't know how to make friends. She's threatened by cliques of chic colleagues. So she breaks away, makes her way back to work, oblivious to everyone and everything now except nuts, nuts never escape her.
